eady-to-Drinks are canned, boxed, bagged
or bottled cocktails that are already mixed

other countries for decades, and now they're
quickly taking over America. RTD's not only taste
great, but they're also super-convenient. They're
perfect for parties, camping, outdoor festivals, or
any situation where you want a mixed drink but
you don't feel like carrying around a knife, cutting
board, fresh fruit, cocktail shaker, jigger, liquor
bottles and mixers.
The most popular kind of Ready-to Drink (also
called RTD) is the hard seltzer. Sometimes called
"alcopops" or "malternatives," this trend initially
kicked off nearly 25 years ago with the launch of
Mike's Hard Lemonade. Sweet, carbonated and with
a relatively low ABV, Mike's was essentially alone in
the marketplace for two decades, but over the past
few years hard seltzers have been surging in
