the residents, much like a family.
The care also changes. The
team includes a homemaker
plus a clinical and a household
coordinator. These leaders
set the tone for the home.
Employees will work in one
household and they will be
cross-trained. For instance, any
team member can cook an egg
or change a bed rather than
wait for another department to
handle that duty. Residents can
awaken when desired to eat in
the kitchen with the help of any
team member.
Richfield Living is committed
to this change as a new
Healthcare Center replaces
the existing Recovery and Care
Center. In 2020, this brandnew building will have 112
private bedrooms for residents.
Each household will feel like
home with separate entrances
and themes. Team members
embrace this change and they
are excited to truly care for
residents as family.
