" I use a blanco tequila and will
infuse that with fresh jalapeños
for at least a week, top it off with
ginger beer and a twist of lime.
Boom. It is refreshing with a little
heat in the back ... I think drinks
should be strong but complex
enough that you want to take your
time and enjoy it. "

Bloody Mary, and I always use a
potato vodka for its complexity and

mix that has enough tomato sweetness to balance the potato vodka.

ale to mix both bourbon and
rum with because ginger ale does
not overpower the flavor of the

burns going down, after you drink,

" I got the idea for this drink from
one of my favorite summertime
recipes, " explains Jennifer
Butts, Manager at Store 36
in Gainesville. " I like to grill
peaches slathered in bourbon
and brown sugar and thought the
flavor profile of that dish would
translate well into a cocktail.
There is the charred, burnt
sugar and vanilla notes from the
bourbon, sweet and juicy notes
from the peach nectar, and the
herbaceous bitter citrus coming
from the bitters. "

ORANGE BITTERS

Combine whiskey and peach nectar
in a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain
and pour over ice. Top with club
