CARAMEL APPLE
SANGRIA

Try Virginia cider and apples - and
wine-in this sweet and refreshing
seasonal take on sangria.
▷▷2 BOTTLES WHITE WINE
▷▷5 CUPS APPLE CIDER
▷▷1 CUP CARAMEL VODKA
▷▷4 APPLES
▷▷2 PEARS
▷▷2 CUPS GINGER ALE
▷▷2 CINNAMON STICKS
Cut apples and pears into
small cubes and place in the
bottom of a pitcher. Combine
all ingredients except the
cinnamon sticks. Stir well then
place in fridge for one to two
hours. Add cinnamon sticks one
hour before serving. Stir. Add
ginger ale, stir and serve over
ice. Serves 12.

CUCUMBER MELON
SANGRIA

The white wine lets the cucumber
and honeydew melon shine, while
the gin adds a botanical touch to
accentuate the natural flavors.

▷▷SEEDLESS CUCUMBER,
THINLY SLICED
▷▷HONEYDEW MELON, IN
CUBES OR BALLS
▷▷MINT LEAVES, ABOUT 12
▷▷1 OZ. SIMPLE SYRUP
▷▷6 OZ. GIN
▷▷1 BOTTLE DRY WHITE WINE
▷▷8 OZ. CLUB SODA
▷▷1 LIME, THINLY SLICED
Add cucumber slices, mint
leaves and melon cubes to small
punch bowl and drizzle with
simple syrup. Pour gin, wine and
club soda and stir well. Serve
in white wine or rocks glasses.
Include cucumber, melon and
mint in each glass and garnish
with a lime wheel. Serves 6.

FIERY SANGRIA

Kick your sangria up a notch with a hot whiskey, complemented with the soft flavors
of orange, peach and mango.
▷▷1 CUP ORANGE PEACH MANGO JUICE
▷▷1 CUP FIREBALL OR OTHER CINNAMON
WHISKEY OR MOONSHINE
▷▷1 BOTTLE DRY RED WINE
▷▷MANGO CUBES (FRESH OR FROZEN)

Combine the juice,
whiskey and wine in a
large pitcher. Stir gently.
Add the fruit and allow to
chill for 10 minutes. Serve.
Serves 6.
