A SPECIAL OFFICIANT

AN EMOTIONAL MOMENT

As Ryan Flynn's mot her was Amanda
Eichenlaub's high school guindance counselor,
she often found Amanda in her office, hoping
for a glimpse of her handsome son. The couple
officially met while on the track team and their
friendship and flirting turned into something
more after Amanda had a mutual friend invite
him to her volleyball game.
Six years later, they had an annual tradition to
open presents with Ryan's family on Christmas
Eve. As they took turns opening gifts, Ryan
handed her a small gift bag. She opened it to
find a homemade ornament that read " Will
you marry me?" and Ryan down on one knee in
front of everyone.

Amanda and Ryan agreed they wanted a simple
yet elegant wedding day, with a color palette
of white, green and gold, along with subtle
uplighting for romantic ambience.
They included a love lock ceremony, with a
personalized lock with their names and date; it
signifies they "locked" their love and marriage
together for eterenity, and is now showcased
in their new home. Ryan's grandmother, better
known as Granny Mack to the family, is an
ordained pastor, and officiated the ceremony.
"During our wedding, you could feel the
love pouring out into her words and making
us into one," Amanda says. "It was a beautiful
ceremony that will always mean so much to us."

Amanda's stunning bouquets were exactly as
she envisioned, while the food, catered by good
friends at the couple's church, impressed every
single guest. To have their friends' love and
hard work given to them for their wedding
day made it all the more special.
The bride remembers growing emotional
during the ceremony when they were finally
pronounced husband and wife. Getting to kiss
her husband for the first time was years in the
making, after all!
" We grabbed each other's hands and Ryan
had the biggest smile on his face," Amanda
remembers. "As we walked down the aisle and
out to the entrance, it felt like pure bliss."
