AN INTIMATE FAMILY EXPERIENCE

A LIFETIME OF LOVE

Jenna Gregory and Ryan Cummins had known
each other for years before dating, though it
was only when they least expected it that their
paths lined up for romance.
Ryan, a real estate agent, told Jenna he needed
her help with new headshots for upcoming
advertisements. As she walked into the loft
of a recently renovated French country flat,
she found lit candles scattered throughout
the room, and Ryan on one knee. Just across
the street, their family and friends, who had
traveled from near and far, sat at a rooftop
restaurant, waiting to celebrate. Ryan opened
the window to give them a thumbs up, and
their screams echoed through the area.

Jenna chose shades of blush pink, mauve and
green. Her venue, Draper Mercantile, has an
eclectic style that provided the perfect space
without much need for additional decor.
The couple's special day had a lot of
wonderful help from family members, from her
grandmother's decorating and artificial flower
arrangements to the groom's aunts and mother
handling the catering. With their homemade
food of chicken, green beans, macaroni and
cheese, salad and even a mashed potato bar,
their Southern-style meal was enjoyed by every
single person in attendance. For Jenna, their
shared talents made the experience much
more intimate.

Though their wedding took place on one
of the hottest days of the year, it was truly
one of the happiest days of Jenna's life. The
anticipation leading up to seeing Ryan for
the first time that day "felt like a lifetime!"
While Jenna had an amazing time getting ready
with her bridesmaids before the ceremony,
the best part of the day was holding hands
with her groom and saying, "I Do!"
"I had never been so sure about another
person in my entire life," Jenna says. "Seeing
Ryan when I walked down the aisle gave me
butterflies like never before - the excitement
was overwhelming!"
