LOVE ACROSS THE YEARS

JUST LIKE A FAIRYTALE

SWEET SERENADE

Mary Hannah Garber and Lucas Wheeler met
at church at a very early age, though their love
story begins a little later. Their first date was
in 2015 when they met for a quick breakfast.
A year later, she asked him to be her date for
a wedding, and two weeks later, she went with
him on a trip to Florida to visit friends.
Mary Hannah had taken a day off work
to spend the day with Lucas. He took her by
her parents' house, where a helicopter landed
and transported them to her favorite winery!
They had lunch, a wine tasting and a beautiful
proposal, followed by a huge celebration party
with their closest friends and family.

Mary Hannah knew she wanted their day to be
rustic, romantic and earthy, with colors of wine
and navy with rose gold, gold and ivory accents.
She describes their day as "something out of a
fairytale," with friends from all over the world
joining them in celebration. For Mary Hannah
and Luke, it was the perfect day.
One extremely special memory is both of
Mary Hannah's grandfathers walking her down
the aisle. "Having them stand there with me on
the most important day meant the world to me,"
she says. "They have been through this journey
called life with me ever since birth and I couldn't
imagine it any other way!"

Mary Hannah planned a surprise for Luke just
before she walked down the aisle. She asked
five of her bridesmaids and bridesmen to sing
along with their friend on guitar; while Lucas
had expected pre-selected music by their DJ,
when their friend stood up with his guitar, Lucas
teared up. Mary Hannah, who was by the window
just before she stepped outside, witnessed the
emotional moment.
" When I finally made it to him, he was
overwhelmed with emotions and couldn't help
but applaud [our friends]," she says. "It was the
most amazing moment and I can't imagine it
being any other way!"
