MOTHER AND DAUGHTER MOMENT

FOOD, FUN AND LOVE

Amanda Losardo and Jake Coletti first became
friends during their freshmen year at SUNY
Oneonta in New York. They realized their
feelings for each other senior year and became
official in March 2014. A year after graduation,
Amanda moved to Washington, D.C. to be with
Jake, where he was pursuing a police career,
and obtained her masters degree - and their
corgi son, Finn!
For their five year anniversary, they went
to National Harbor for a nice meal and walk.
She grew suspicious at his urging pictures, but
excitedly accepted his proposal. The ring was
one she'd picked out months prior, with the
stone from her mother's engagement ring.

Amanda chose a rustic, romantic theme, with
wood pieces, burlap, and blush and white colored
florals. Sola wood bouquets were gorgeous and
durable, with twine and lace bows added to
make them extra special. Her mom also took
pieces of Amanda's grandmothers' wedding
dresses, and her own dress, and incorporated
them into the bouquet.
The couple simply had to include their corgi,
Finn, into the day, as everyone knows how
important he is to Amanda and Jake. Amanda
also shared a special mother and daughter
dance, as her mother had stage 4 pancreatic
cancer, and they wanted that sweet moment
together while they had it.

The couple was thrilled with "incredible" food
from the venue. In addition to their buffet
of baked cheese tortellini, chicken marsala,
au gratin potatoes and more, they also had
a variety of cupcakes for dessert, including
cookie dough, chocolate cheesecake, peanut
butter cup and caramel apple.
Guests took home custom koozies they could
use during the reception while they danced
the night away. Amanda raves about her DJ,
who played everything requested, and came
with a fun photo booth with props.
"I don't think I left the dance floor once!"
Amanda says. " We just wanted to have good
food, good music and a lot of fun!"
