LETTERS MORE FOR A CAT? I have been a subscriber ofThe Roanoker for many years, and I have a few words about the article "Dolly: Independent, FloydTough" (March/April). This cat grieved itself to death! Someone should have done more than what was done. There were ways to do more. This cat should have had another loving life with people! -Helen Hancock, Roanoke Jason Firebaugh for failure to credit his photograph of the Roanoke Star in the piece on the Blue Ridge Land Conservancy in The Gist department (March/April). And too for the "stray" intro lines on the Betty Branch "Where are They Now" piece in March/ April. It should have read, "The awardwinning artist, sculptor, wife, mother of eight and person about town continues her long and productive career almost 40 years afMEA CULPAE ter appearing on the cover of the Our apologies to photographer magazine." 8 | MAY/JUNE 2016 THEROANOKER.COMhttp://www.THEROANOKER.COM
