WINKY VAUGHAN
The pool business is in Winky Vaughan's blood,
having studied the industry for nearly her entire
life. Her father was in the pool business, too,
and he taught her everything he knew-which
is quite a bit!
Winky started National Pools of Roanoke in
1977. Business boomed from the start, and many
of her original employees and their families still
work for her. Even her kids and grandkids love
to come in and help around the store, creating
four generations of pool business family.

"It's fun, it's exercise and it's family-oriented,"

friends over for!"
