Q: What is unique about your business
that sets you apart?
A: I am fortunate enough to work with the
most talented stylists at Bliss Studio. My
lifelong struggle with curls has always set me
apart. My curly journey sparked a passion
as an advocate for my clients to embrace
and transform their curls, sometimes for
the first time in their lives. My goal is to help
people gain confidence and understand
their hair challenges. With a focus on styling
techniques, product knowledge and curl
education, I hope to lead the resurgence
of the curly hair movement in Roanoke.

Q: What does it mean to be recognized as a " Best of 2021 " award winner?
A: It is incredibly humbling in a year that was so difficult for many
stylists in our industry to again be recognized by my wonderful clients,
colleagues, family and members of this community. Now more than ever,
it is their support that makes what I do possible. I feel so fortunate that
among my mentors and numerous talented stylists in Roanoke to even be
considered for this award.

Q: Favorite part of your job?
A: We love seeing a client's dream
become reality. New construction
projects and remodels are our
favorite because a blank slate
truly becomes a piece of beauty
and happiness for our client
to enjoy for years to come. At
the end of the day, our job is to
bring joy to others through our
workmanship.
Q: What does it mean to be
recognized as a " Best of 2021 "
award winner?
A: It is an absolute blessing to
be given this award and it would
not be possible without our amazing clients and contractors. It
helps that we have an amazing group of employees who care about
each project. We cannot say thank you enough to those who voted
for us; it makes our souls happy to know our small business is so
appreciated!
