Mountain Lake Wine
Festival different from other
similar events?
At first, the festival was held
on the water, and recently it
has been moved to a different
location that has a lot of
room and lots of parking.
You can rent private chalets
from the Chamber and set up
your own area, listen to great
bands and taste great wine.
The lake is the twelfth place
we've lived. We moved here
from Las Vegas. People ask
why the lake, and we always
say that it's the best place
we've been. This is the greatest
community and the lake offers

so much. That the wine festival
is at the lake is what makes it
so special. A day at the lake is
always special.

How frequently do you attend
the event, and what do you
like best about the festival?
We have attended the wine
festival the last seven years.
There are a lot of great wine
tastings and activities at the
festival, but what we like best
is the camaraderie.
September through October
is such a special time at the
lake, and people can make a
weekend out of the festival
with friends and family, hosting
parties and celebrations
around the wine festival.
