service procedures

W
hen removing or installing the A/C
pressure transducer, always support the hex
portion of the sensor port with an openended wrench. This prevents any damage to the
A/C pipe due to the twisting force of the deep
socket that is removing or installing the transducer.
Failure to support the sensor port may cause damage to the
A/C pipe, resulting in leakage of refrigerant.
Always refer to the correct service information for the
model you are servicing for proper procedures and tightening
specifications. ❆

While the sensor port is supported with
the open-ended wrench, the A/C pressure
transducer can now be safely removed or
installed by using a deep socket.
