U.S. EPA and NHTSA propose greenhouse gas emissions standards and fuel efficiency standards for medium- and heavy-duty engines and vehicles The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) are jointly proposing a national program that would establish the next phase of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and fuel efficiency standards for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. This "Phase 2 program" would significantly reduce carbon emissions and improve the fuel efficiency of heavy-duty vehicles, helping to address the challenges of global climate change and energy security. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper visits Spectra Premium's Laval radiator facility On the first full day of the 2015 Canadian election campaign, August 5, 2015, Prime Minister Stephen Harper visited Spectra Premium's Laval, Quebec, Canada radiator manufacturing facility to make an announcement related to the manufacturing industry. The Canadian Conservative government aims to spend $60 million a year to increase and extend tax credits for businesses that hire wouldbe tradespeople. First introduced in 2006, the maximum of this credit would be increased by the Conservatives from $ 2,000 to $ 2,500 and extended to the third and fourth years of eligible apprenticeship training. In her new position, Erin's responsibilities will be to support and increase sales by managing Coyote International's existing customer base. She will also be developing business Erin Murphy by identifying new market opportunities. Prior to joining Coyote, Erin served as the marketing director for a multi-purpose development in Dallas, TX.
