Before class closes for the evening we cover the update
presentation, and this year, like most, there was a lot of
news to report. New EPA regulations now allow the use of
yf in certain MD trucks, but will also require mobile A/C
service technicians to present their Section 609 Certification card when purchasing refrigerants such as R-134a and
R-1234yf at parts stores, jobbers and warehouses, something we haven't had to do before (except for with R-12).
