When problems get overly complicated, we can often feel
overwhelmed - like we're lost in an elaborate corn maze
(Figures 1, 2). We just want OUT! But sometimes complex
problems are blessings in disguise. While complex problems
can lead to frustration or at the very least make us work
harder than we'd like, they can also teach us to think outside
the box.
If we're not too prideful they can even prompt us to reach
out to others for assistance. Complex problems can even
inspire us. The
COVID-19 pandemic definitely
qualifies as a horrific and complex
problem for the
entire world to
endure and eventually solve. Many
of our customers
are out of work or
at the very least
working
from
home following
governmentally
mandated social
distancing rules.

HD fleet running. From the over the road semi tractors
moving groceries to the supermarket to medium duty delivery trucks delivering medical equipment for the heroes
serving in hospitals and nursing homes - you're keeping
them moving. For the professional light duty truck and auto
repair technician, this is probably a slower time repairing
the few vehicles that are still being driven. But being on the
front lines, ready to repair those vehicles that get the doctors,
nurses or other essential duty folks to work makes you a first
responder as well. The motoring public, MACS Worldwide
and this MACS technical correspondent thank each one of
you. You are your nation's heroes too! n

can still be confusing. Whether you're navigating an unchartered
course for your business future in the midst of this horrific COVID-19 pandemic, or you're battling something more immediate
such as a complex wiring system on a vehicle, mazes can be turned
into road maps with patience and logical thinking!
