TIME ZONE
Arizona is in the Mountain Standard time zone. With the exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation in Northern Arizona, the state does not observe Daylight Saving Time.

Bus & light rail service
In the Greater Phoenix area, METRO Light Rail provides speedy rail service from central Phoenix, through downtown Phoenix and Tempe’s Arizona State University campus and into Mesa. Valley Metro buses provide public transportation throughout the entire Greater Phoenix area. Sun Tran buses serve the metro Tucson area and have transit centers located at major destinations throughout the city.
