It contains all of your driving record data, but is not in the same format as a True & Attested Driving Record and does not have a validation stamp on it. The fee for this is $6.00. A True & Attested Driving Record can be used for official purposes. It is on official RMV letterhead and has a validation stamp on it. The fee for this is $20.00. If you visit a branch, the driving record you received will be on official RMV letterhead, but will not have the validation stamp. The fee for this is $20.00. Processing Time: For a True & Attested driving record ordered over the internet, through the mail or the Telephone Center, please allow ten (10) business days for processing. If you request a True & Attested driving record at Quincy Headquarters, Court Records section, it will be processed while you wait. For an Unattested Driving Record ordered over the internet, you will receive an automated email that contains the driving record as a PDF attachment. If you required a driving record without a validation stamp in person at a branch, it will be processed while you wait.
