Idein Inc.
Idein, a Japanese startup located
in Tokyo, was founded in 2015
aiming to handle real-world events
with software by integrating

recent progress in deep learning and signal processing
technologies. To break down the cost barrier, we undertake
research and development of acceleration techniques
of deep learning inference on low-price devices. Using
our technology, we enable the execution of inference at
practical speed on popular commodity devices sold on the
market such as Raspberry Pi.
We are also developing an IoT platform named Actcast in
which users can link various physical events and data to
the Web to construct advanced IoT systems combined
with deep learning inference on the edge devices.
The cost for the systems will be an order of magnitude
cheaper than existing cloud-based deep learning
inference services.

ICARE Technologies
After getting expertise in
contactless payment and
miniaturization, ICARE Technologies
will use CES 2019 to introduce to the
world its smart ring named Aeklys
designed and revealed by Philippe Starck.
