Track pH is the first wearable
sensor to use breakthrough
microfluidic technology to measure
levels of skin pH. The sensor
captures and analyzes nearly invisible droplets of sweat
from the skin through a network of microchannels.
Traditional, rigid pH tests require large sweat samples,
which makes pH detection inconvenient and often
difficult. My Skin Track pH consists entirely of soft, pliable
elastomers that fuse tightly with the skin and require only
a tiny sampling of sweat to be effective.
L'Oréal's mission with this new technology is to advance
our collective understanding of the link between
levels of pH and skin conditions and to provide deeper
personalized insights into the science of skin.
