Exercise regularly to strengthen bones and the muscles
surrounding the bones.
Get the recommended daily amount of calcium (1,000
milligrams) and vitamin D3 (400-800 international units).
Limit alcohol intake,
and don't smoke.
Limit soda consumption, including diet drinks,
to one or two servings per week.
