Autumn is a time for cooler temperatures, apple picking,
changing leaves, hayrides and pumpkin carving.
It's a season when families and friends come together to
reflect on all that we have to be thankful for.
This year, we have a lot to be thankful for. We are working our way
back after experiencing an unprecedented time of need.
On behalf of everyone at Northside Hospital, we remain absolutely
humbled by the outpouring of support from individuals, businesses
and organizers within our community throughout the COVID-19
crisis. We cannot possibly thank you enough.

on page 10, we talk about the importance of practicing gratitude as a
way to manage stress.

Self-care is about prioritizing your health-not just what you eat or
how much sleep and exercise you get, but also staying on top of regular
screenings, and knowing your health risks and when to see your doctor. Northside Hospital makes taking care of your health as convenient
as possible, with a network of providers across multiple specialties
throughout Gwinnett and North Georgia.
Most Northside providers now offer virtual visits, which means that
you can have an appointment with your doctor from the privacy and

We've also expanded access to screenings and early detection. All
imaging centers within the Northside system that provide mammography services, as well as Northside's ScreenAtlanta mobile mammography
van, offer digital breast tomosynthesis, also known as 3D mammography,
the latest in screening and diagnostic technology for breast cancer. For
