Central Carolina Hospital (CCH) is pleased to
announce two new certifications from The Joint
Commission for advanced heart failure and
advanced primary stroke. The Joint Commission
certification is a nationwide seal of approval
reflecting high performance standards in healthcare.
The certification for advanced primary stroke is a
new recognition for CCH, which means it meets
critical elements of performance to achieve longterm success in improving outcomes for patients.

Quality Achievement
The American Heart Association (AHA) has also
recognized CCH with the Get With the Guidelines
Gold and Gold Plus Quality Achievement Awards for heart failure, as well as the Stroke Silver Plus Award. All
four awards recognize the hospital’s commitment to patient care by ensuring patients receive a high quality
of healthcare in line with nationally accepted standards.

Newest Navigator
No matter where you are on the path to pain-free living, our orthopedic
navigator is here to help. Her name is Teresa Williams, RN, and her goal
is to ensure patients receive the best possible care along with the
information needed to have surgery. She also helps with the discharge
process, making sure instructions are understood and follow-up
