Consists of digital rectal exam and prostate-speciﬁc antigen blood test. Appointment required. Saturday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to noon SKIN CANCER SCREENING (AT THE COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR) For detection of melanoma and other serious skin cancers. Screening includes full-body visual examination. Appointment required. Saturday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to noon BONE DENSITY SCREENING Suitable for adults who want to know how their lifestyle affects their bone density, and for those with certain risk factors (family history, small body frame, inactivity, smoking, excessive caffeine or alcohol consumption, low calcium and vitamin D intake). Consists of a quick, painless ultrasound test of the heel bone (not diagnostic). For those who have not had a DEXA scan or ultrasound bone test in the past year. Appointment required. Thursday, Sept. 25, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. BREAST CANCER SCREENING For women ages 40 and older, who have not had a mammogram within the past year and do not have breast cancer. Screening includes clinical breast exam, screening mammogram and risk assessment. Appointment required.
