FEATURED LINKS Lumberjack In the final weeks of his successful tenure as president of Northern Arizona University, John Haeger took time to reflect on events, accomplishments, ongoing initiatives and challenges at NAU. SPOTLIGHT CONNECTIONS Q&A Q. Which NAU memories will mean the most to you? What? When? share this article I will always remember the feeling of community, and that comes from a lot of sources. Welcoming students back to campus each fall with a picnic was enjoyable, and they seemed to like being served by me and other senior administrators. In athletics, we worked hard to regain our status as a top-level Big Sky program, so beating Montana in football and basketball were definitely highlights. Commencements, with so many happy students and families, were gratifying and rewarding.
