The holidays are another wonderful time to visit New Orleans. Miracle on Fulton Street is a popular downtown destination where one can play in the manufactured snow for a touch of traditional cheer, while pubs and restaurants offer outdoor seating on this pedestrian thoroughfare. New Orleans is also a top destination for New Year’s Eve celebrations as ﬁreworks aboard barges on the Mississippi River deliver exciting displays.
