My favorite part of the season is my family’s annual New England beach time. We return to the summer house I grew up in, kicking off our shoes when we arrive and not putting them back on until we leave a few weeks later. The laid-back beach vibe, cookouts, sweatshirts and campfires, outdoor showers and sea-glass walks with my children are annual traditions that I cherish and look forward to all year long. Throughout this issue of The Ritz-Carlton Magazine, you’ll find lots of great travel, design and fashion inspired by summer’s sunny, carefree days.
