Working for Shinola is not about having a job; it's about being a part of a community. It's really amazing to see the response of the factory workers. There's optimism and excitement. It's very dynamic. Everyone has an energy about their work and seems to feel very proud of the work being accomplished. In 1946, Hans Wilsdorf, creator of Rolex, introduced the Tudor brand of watches. This new collection offered watches similar to those of Rolex in aesthetic and craftsmanship, but at a more accessible price point - an idea ahead of its time.
