Better, Faster, Safer Medical imaging centers at PCRMC feature latest technology and techniques L ooks aren’t everything—except when it comes to diagnostic imaging. With the new 256-slice CT scanner at Phelps County Regional Medical Center (PCRMC), doctors have access to clear images that lead to fast, more accurate diagnoses. Quicker scan times also mean a faster, more pleasant patient experience. Doctors use CT, which stands for computed tomography, to see inside the body and confirm or rule out certain conditions or diseases. If doctors do see something on your scan, that information can be vital in determining proper treatment options. Common CT work includes brain scans, angiography, chest scans, abdomen and pelvis scans, spine imaging and facial bone imaging.
