As PCRMC grows, we consistently reevaluate our organization in an effort to improve service, along with care. Our patients are always our first priority, and we are dedicated to making their experience with PCRMC positive and productive each time they walk through our doors. Every day, we focus on ensuring that our patients are served in a caring manner while receiving superior healthcare. This issue highlights some of the ways PCRMC strives to put patient well-being and concerns first. For one, we’ve redesigned how we handle incoming phone calls. Our new Contact Center is staffed by talented employees who are personally committed to making sure that each request is handled in an efficient, helpful manner. See page 4 for more. Another example: In 2011, PCRMC again was accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer for its cancer care services. (See page 49.) Accreditation is no small feat, and we’re proud of the physicians and employees who dedicate their talents and efforts into making The Delbert Day Cancer Institute a high-quality cancer facility, close to home.
