Foundation Recognition Wall Donors, volunteers, medical staff and employees to be acknowledged for contributions to PCRMC An artist’s concept of the PCRMC recognition wall P helps County Regional Medical Center (PCRMC) recently approved the purchase of a large com puterized and interactive recognition wall to be displayed in the front lobby of the main entrance of the hospital. The unveiling of the wall was scheduled for Nov. 15. The wall was purchased in a collaborative effort by the Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation, the PCRMC Auxiliary and Volunteer Services department and the PCRMC Board of Trustees. The Phelps County Regional Medical Center Recog nition Wall will be updated and maintained by the Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation on an annual basis, and it will honor and recognize donors, volunteers, medi cal staff and employees who have made contributions to PCRMC based on the following criteria: PhelPs County Regional mediCal CenteR— volunteeR ReCognition. Volunteers will be recog nized by service hours. PhelPs County Regional mediCal CenteR— vine oF liFe. Any individual who makes an organ donation at PCRMC will be honored on the Vine of Life. The names of such organ donors can be moved into the interactive kiosk after seven years. PhelPs County Regional mediCal CenteR— mediCal staFF. Medical staff will be recognized based on an established point system. Criteria for points have been developed by the chief of staff, vice chief of staff and senior vice president of medical affairs. • ½ point for each year of service • 1 point for each year of serving on a committee • 2 points for each year of serving as a committee chair • 3 points for serving as a medical staff officer or a trustee By Somer Overshon PhelPs Regional health CaRe Foundation— Cumulative and legaCy soCiety giving.
