Originally, Dr. Voight planned on going into family medicine because of his great respect for family practice physicians and the versatility of the ﬁeld. However, once he began his rotation in surgery, "everything clicked," he says. "I enjoyed the opportunity to ﬁ x problems and potentially save people's lives and make their lives better. I believe that there is no bigger impact I can make in someone's life other than surgery-it can improve a person's overall health outcomes.
