So, boards should undertake measures to ensure that annual meetings run smoothly and are productive. Several tips follow: 54 CONDOMEDIA September 2018 1 Be sure to follow the notice requirements of your governing documents and the latest version of RSA 356-B (the "Condominium Act" or "Act"). 2 If you are addressing the budget at the annual meeting, be sure you have complied with all of the premeeting requirements in the latest version of the Act (these are in RSA 356-B:40-c). 3 Since the Act now requires use of Roberts' Rules of Order unless the bylaws state otherwise, be sure to either: a) come prepared to follow Roberts' Rules; or b) amend your bylaws to afford the board discretion as to the procedures used to run meetings. 4 Designate a moderator. Whether the moderator is a member of the
