The Region RHODE ISLAND Community Association Law Diverse, Unpredictable and Complex [by Mike Milas, Esq.] I was frequently told throughout law school, by practicing attorneys and professors alike, about how different the actual practice of law would be from the law that we studied in school. I graduated law school in May 2019 and was sworn in as a 50 CONDOMEDIA February 2020 Rhode Island attorney in November 2019, and this notion has already proved remarkably true as I've started practicing community association law. The nature of conflicts that arise between people sharing property in close quarters is more unpredictable than I ever could have anticipated and, as a result, the complexities of the legal issues involved are vastly different from those that appear in textbooks.
