Thinking Pink: Campaign for a Cause
In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper group partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) for an educational campaign that kicked off in October 2010.
Combining this campaign with educational awareness during Fall Car Care
Month (FCCM), also in October, Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper parts stores and certified service centers provided their customers with important facts on preventive vehicle maintenance, as well as offering materials on the importance of breast health. Their locations also served as collection points for donations to BCRF.
The Platform
A goal of Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper is for their customers’ vehicles to be safe, roadworthy and economical. The group believes in sharing knowledge on preventive maintenance, especially during Car Care Months. Since Fall Car Care Month (FCCM) coincides with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the
