PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
An A+ AwArd
Never Enough Awards
the new “head of the Class” award will each year honor up to six aaia member aftermarket companies that invest in continuous learning for their employees.
I’m a long-time advocate for bestowing awards upon those who deserve special recognition. There could never be enough awards to shine the spotlight on worthy recipients. That’s why I am delighted that our association has created a new award that will recognize aftermarket companies that continually invest in their employee’s education and training.
The new “Head of the Class” award will each year honor up to six AAIA member aftermarket companies that invest in continuous learning for their employees. One award is scheduled to be presented to a company in each of six industry categories: manufacturer, WD, independent jobber/parts store, national retailer/ service chain, independent repair shop and manufacturers’ representative. The “Head of the Class” award was created and will be administered by the volunteer leaders of the AAIA Education Committee. Visit www.aftermarket.org/ education for more information. Companies who are committed to life-long learning and professional development, and who encourage their employees to participate in available education and training opportunities understand the competitive edge achieved by a better informed and motivated workforce. We are proud to honor them.
