Celebrate 90!
AHEPA has had a lot to celebrate over its 90-year, storied history. The Order has emerged from a noble founding in Atlanta, Georgia aimed to combat bigotry and discrimination to become a globally recognized organization in six countries through which an individual can celebrate and share the principal tenets of Hellenism—education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, and family and individual excellence. It is often stated that an individual achieves the American Dream. However, it can also be stated that an organization, such as AHEPA, has also accomplished this Dream. As Ahepans, we are all proud to be part of a legacy that has included presidents of the United States, Fortune 500 CEOs, trailblazing authors, stellar professional athletes and entertainers, and leading academics. Indeed, there is a unique spirit of Brotherhood and fellowship that binds us together. We also take pride in being at the forefront of charitable giving and educational programming. Whatever the task, whatever the cause, Ahepans bring a “can do” attitude to it that resembles the hard work ethic of our immigrant forebears. And it is this same “can do,” roll-up-your-sleeves approach that AHEPA is looking for from the Brotherhood once again. This time it is to help the organization celebrate its 90th anniversary.

AHEPA is providing the Greek American community, and Hellenes everywhere, with the unique opportunity to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration by supporting the 90th Anniversary Convention Album. Please take a moment to complete the ad request form found on the next page. In addition, please make copies and share it with family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. Please ask them to support the commemorative convention album. By doing so, you will be not only helping to celebrate AHEPA’s 90th anniversary, but you will also be taking pride in the fulfillment of the American Dream and our glorious Hellenic heritage.
