HOW TO GET AROUND
Once you’re here, getting around Chicago is a breeze. Hop aboard one of the Chicago Transit Authority’s clean, convenient trains or buses. You can even download a mobile app to help plan your route and find the nearest station; try CTA Tracker for iPhone and Chicago Transit Tracker for Android phones. Chicago’s B-cycle, the city’s bike-sharing program, lets you pick up a bicycle from one of six B-stations along the lakefront and in the Loop, and return it to another. A free trolley runs a loop from Navy Pier to State Street Memorial Day through Labor Day, and then for special events at the pier. And of course there are taxis – even a water taxi for when the weather’s beautiful. These taxis run along the Chicago River and between the Museum Campus and Navy Pier.
