EMARKETER RESEARCH Social Network Usage 2011 According to eMarketer, the number of overall social network users is growing more slowly, creating an audience that is more sophisticated about the people and brands with which they’re interacting. The youth market continues to dominate social media, with younger people using them just as often as e-mail. Mobile continues to grow, where 21 percent of mobile phone users will use mobile social networks in 2011.
