PulseTV Rolls Out First Daily Deal Video Network
E-commerce and daily deal company PulseTV.com announced the creation of the first video network dedicated exclusively to daily deals. COO, Anisa Ali stated, “We have been sending out daily deal emails since 2007. We also have extensive video production experience. And now we’ve combined those skills to bring an entirely new deal-of-the-day experience to the industry.” PulseTV.com began marketing products via TV direct response more than 15 years ago. Anisa continued, “We have been marketing exclusively online since 1998 and we take inventory on all of our products plus ship from our own warehouse. After extensive testing and producing several videos demonstrating the products we sell, our success led us to build an in-house studio to expand our daily video productions.” Creating a network of sites that embed PulseTV’s video player featuring a daily deal is a natural evolution. The network launched with 27 sites. Ali said, “We have been extremely selective in which safe-for-work sites we allowed in our initial launch of the Daily Deal Video Network. The affiliates in our network earn a significant percentage of the sales generated. We know that when people watch our daily deal videos, they are more motivated to purchase, our goal is to add more network partners and increase our views exponentially over the coming months.” For PulseTV.com, the new video network will supplement rather than replace its daily deal emails sent to more than 5 million subscribers. Products sold in the network include electronics, housewares, seasonal gifts and more. PulseTV also recently released its PulseTV Daily Deal App for both the Android and iPhone platforms.
