ISTAT INFORMATION What About Society Activities? ISTAT holds several events annually: • Conferences held in the spring and fall, which are open to non-members as well. The conferences cover industry issues addressed by prominent specialists. Topics have included the changing environment for aircraft and their financing as well as reviews of current markets and industry forecasts. Enjoyable social programs help round out the agenda and offer participants a unique opportunity to network with colleagues. • An Annual Membership Meeting is held in conjunction with the Annual Conference held in the spring. The members discuss the current status of ISTAT and plan for the future. The Board of Directors is elected and special topics of interest to the Society as a whole are addressed. • ISTAT hosts a reception during the Paris and Farnborough air shows. • In 2011, ISTAT held the 1st China Conference in Beijing, China.
