Boeing Appraisers Forum
Boeing hosted about 40 of the world’s aircraft appraisal community recently at its new second ﬁnalassembly facility for the 787 Dreamliner in Charleston, S.C., for its annual Appraisers Forum event. The group included many ISTAT members and ISTAT ofﬁcials, including Fred Klein, Chairman of the ISTAT Appraisers Board of Governors; ISTAT Past President John Vitale; ISTAT President and event host Joe Ozimek; ISTAT Appraisers Board Member John Beekman and ISTAT Board Member Douglas Runte. Deutsche Bank Aircraft Finance & Leasing Conference
ISTAT members Kostya Zolotusky of Boeing Capital and Andrew Shankland of Airbus “duke it out” at the inaugural Deutsche Bank Aircraf t Finance & Leasing Conference in New York City on 12 September 2011. ISTAT Board Member Douglas Runte of Deutsche Bank mediates between the two friendly competitors. More than 40 ISTAT members joined 150 others at the event, which included presentations from and meetings with senior representatives of ISTAT Corporate Members AerCap, Airbus, Aircastle, Air Lease Corporation, Ascend, Avitas, Avolon, AWAS, Boeing, FLY Leasing, ILFC, Jackson Square Aviation, and RBS Aviation Capital. The event drew ISTAT members and others from around the world.
