PARTNERSHIPS | Wyland Foundation 2018 NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE HOLDINGS STEWARDSHIP REPORT NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE BUILDS NEW PARTNERSHIP The 2018 unveiling of Norwegian Cruise Line's newest ship, Norwegian Bliss, signified the launch of the company's new partnership with the Wyland Foundation. As one of the world's premier marine life artists, Wyland designed the ship's stunning hull artwork. "Our goal has always been to use those two disciplines to creatively inspire a generation to learn about the importance of a healthy environment and take action," explained Wyland. "We want to open the doors to the arts and sciences and leverage those areas in support of a healthy marine environment." Among the nonprofit's successful projects is the Clean Water Mobile Learning Experience, which has inspired nearly a million inner city and rural kids to preserve the world's water resources. "I can't think of a more perfect canvas to share the beauty of the ocean than Norwegian Bliss. When I started painting life-size murals over 30 years ago, the idea was to connect people more closely to the ocean.
