Who's Who

Studio 11 Design has three new
additions: senior designers
Aubrey Butcher and Bethany
Deac, and interior designer
Andrea Marino. The firm won
numerous awards in 2013:
Hospitality Design magazine's
Wave of the Future Award;
honorable mention for best
hotel and lobby at the Gold Key
Awards; and Boutique Design
magazine's Reader's Choice
Award, Most Inspiring Hotel, Best
Western Premier Hotel and Spa,
Pention-Ville, Haiti. The firm just
completed CHINO Chinatown in
Trinity Groves, an up and coming
neighborhood in Dallas.

David Pratt has joined Design9
Group, an independent
manufacturer's rep firm serving
hospitality designers, architects,
and builders in the Pacific
Northwest.
Virginia Quilting Commercial Inc.
(VQC) welcomes Tina Hobbs, who
will be covering the Washington,
DC area, Baltimore, and
Richmond, Virginia.

Bryce Schulte has joined LuP
Interiors, which has been voted
one of NEWH's TOP ID firms for the
Sunshine chapter for the second
year in a row.
Design Atelier has been selected as the interior designers for the new
Westin Cozumel Mexico. The resort will boast 160 keys, four restaurants,
one lounge, meeting rooms, a ballroom, numerous pools, private
cabanas, outdoor banquet areas, a full spa, and a state-of-the-art
sports facility.

Marcy Graham, long-time
marketing maven in the home
furnishings industry, launches
Graham Marketing Group (GMG),
offering brand development,
advertising, communications,
website development, tradeshow
management, sample
manufacturing, merchandising,
and distribution expertise to
small businesses in the home
furnishings and fashion industries.
 
Fabric Innovations hired Brittany
Chisenhall as South Central
regional sales associate, based
in Dallas, and promoted Paige
Nelson to West Coast regional
sales associate.
 

On December 30th, Deborah
Herman, president, Fabric
Innovations, was married to
architect Tom Marchisotto. The
bride was surrounded by close
family and friends for the intimate
beach ceremony at Rosewood
Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin
Islands.   
Ann Cotton, a British woman
who is revolutionizing the lives of
women in sub-Saharan Africa,
has been awarded the 2013 Jesse
& Helen Kalisher Humanitarian
Award.
Elements Hospitality is moving its
Lynden, Washington, offices to the
Dutch Village Mall, a downtown
landmark that's home to a
72-foot-tall windmill and the Dutch
Village Inn. 

Jerry Huettmann has joined the
Rejuvenation team as national
trade director.
 

Angela Cameron's 2013/2014 catalog is now available-full of art
ideas, installations, and new works.

IDI welcomes Sean Eggelston to
the firm's PR department.

A new boutique design, brand,
and innovation firm, Guild 13,
moved into the historic Smith
Tower in Seattle in November.

Joe Kilby joined LebaTex, Inc.,
the exclusive provider of Stacy
Garcia Fabrics, to further develop
its growing portfolio of national
accounts.

Kendal Rogers, a designer with
Sims Patrick Studio, was recently
highlighted in the lifestyle blog,
"The Everygirl." Her home tour
feature shared photographs of
her townhome, as well as an
interview about her personal
design style at home and at work.
