CHAPTER HIGHLIGHTS

South Florida
Sunlight reflected across downtown Miami
from Key Biscayne to ignite the third-annual
NEWH South Florida Golden Palm Awards,
a night centered around scholarship and
design. A vintage car at the entrance to
the Rusty Pelican restaurant sparked the
Cuban ambiance-this year's theme-which
continued to the unfolding of vibrant colors
across ticket holders' wardrobe selections. The
highlight of the evening was awarding more
than $25,000 in scholarships! A big thanks to
all of the sponsors, the design firm and student
submissions, the judges from NEWH United
Kingdom, and the committee's investment
behind the scenes.
