Mighty + Bright - mightyandbright.com
Mighty + Bright helps kids by relieving the uncertainty
that comes with cancer treatment. Using fun picture
books, kids learn the science of cancer in an honest,
totally non-scary way, and how treatment - their
own, or a parent's - will affect their day-to-day life.
The complementary magnetic calendar allows parents
to show their kids what's happening each day, from
treatment appointments to low-key bonding activities
that are easy enough to do from bed.
Play It Back Music Program -
https://teencanceramerica.org/play-itback-music-program/
The
Play It Back Music Program (PIB) powered
by Teen Cancer America gives adolescent and
young adult (AYA) cancer patients and survivors the
opportunity to express themselves and heal through
the power of making music. The process of putting
their experiences to words and music gives them
the satisfaction of creating art that can cross infinite
emotional boundaries, help themselves release
their visions into the world and inspire people from
all walks of life. This program gives the artists the
chance to meet others with shared experiences and
passion for music. Their stories and coming together
have created a unique community that provides
support, purpose, peer mentorship and the fortitude
to thrive as they move forward in the next steps of
their life's journey. Play It Back also connects AYA
cancer survivors with industry professionals to create
songs, meet artists, and explore music in a way never
imagined.
