Founded by a three-time cancer alumna, Kits to Heart is
a nonprofit organization that gives thoughtfully designed,
curated cancer care kits to patients and caregivers. Its
mission is to care for the whole person (cura personalis),
recognizing that cancer patients require both material
and psychosocial support throughout their most difficult
moments of treatment.
Lending Hearts - lendinghearts.org
Living with cancer is hard enough, you don't have to go
it alone. We know the balance between treatment and
wellness is vital. Be part of a community that supports
you and your family's whole health. The Lending Hearts
Integrative Oncology Wellness Program is a free and
comprehensive program for those in treatment and in
recovery from cancer. Services are virtual and address
the stresses and demands experienced by the mind,
body, and overall well-being of individuals. If scheduling
prevents participating in live programs, Lending
Hearts has an extensive offering of recorded content
available on demand through our YouTube channel

The
Play It Back Music Program (PIB) powered by Teen
Cancer America gives adolescent and young adult (AYA)
cancer patients and survivors the opportunity to express
themselves and heal through the power of making music.
The process of putting their experiences to words and
music gives them the satisfaction of creating art that
can cross infinite emotional boundaries, release their
visions into the world and inspire people from all walks
of life. This program gives the artists the chance to
meet others with shared experiences and a passion for
music. Their stories and coming together have created
a unique community that provides support, purpose,
peer mentorship, and the fortitude to thrive as they move
forward in the next steps of their life's journey. Play It
Back also connects AYA cancer survivors with industry
professionals to create songs, meet artists, and explore
music in a way never imagined.
Sites and Insights - sitesandinsights.org/
Sites and Insights is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing
cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers with a way
to express their fear, anxiety, and grief in an innovative
way. Our Mindful Therapeutic Art Programs offer a
unique way to help process this life-altering experience
for anyone impacted by cancer. The SAI (Sites and
Insights) copyrighted curriculums combines art, color,
mindful techniques, sensory integration, and various
complementary therapies. Our programs are proven to
help with emotional healing, transforming the cancer
experience while generating hope and motivation to the
survivors and caregivers. In-person and virtual programs

Stupid Cancer is a national nonprofit organization
whose mission is to help empower everyone affected by
adolescent and young adult cancer by ending isolation
and building community. Our goal is to make cancer suck
less by connecting AYAs to age-appropriate programs
and resources, like CancerCon and our social Meetups.

The Gathering Place - touchedbycancer.org
The Gathering Place is a cancer support center providing
free programs and services for individuals and families
coping with the impact of cancer in their lives. The
Young Adult programs at The Gathering Place provide
opportunities to: Connect with other YAs, talk about
concerns, ask questions, give and receive support, and
socialize. Programs are held at The Gathering Place in
Beachwood and Westlake (Northeast Ohio) and in fun
venues throughout the community.

methodology that is tailored to address the specific

strength, reduces anxiety, and boosts overall well-being.
