where the money is going. If it is
not going directly to metastatic
breast cancer or the individuals
dying of cancer, it's like putting
" lipstick on a pig. "
* Metastatic research needs more
funding
As you read this list, think about what
you can do. How can we as a group join
Lisa in her life and her legacy? Start by
supporting Tigerlily Foundation in your
community and advocate. Become educated
in health disparities and together
and can work toward ending breast
cancer in our lifetime.

Lisa believes she has only two years
left to live. She is tirelessly advocating
for herself and others, as well as being
the voice for her friends who have died
from metastatic breast cancer. Stage IV
breast cancer needs more research, more
funding, and more treatments. We are
running out of time. Lisa is showing
others her best self by teaching those
in her past, present, and future how to
live their best life.
UPDATE SINCE FILMING
IN 2021.
Lisa has experienced another progression
leading to starting medical intervention
in October of 2021 and just experienced
another progression in March of 2022.
Lisa is very excited and grateful that there
are now two potential clinical trials that
she is being evaluated for.
Lisa is the host of Our MBC Life, a
podcast that focuses on amplifying voic " I
have been doing my best to improve my bone health
with yoga, a stationary bike, and walking. When
treatments have made it difficult to do the stationary
bike, I focus on walking and light yoga and being gentle
with my heart when frustrated with my body. "

to exploring life with metastatic
breast cancer from the perspective of
those living with this disease and the
experts who partner with us to help
make their lives better. This podcast is

" Our MBC Life is now in its fourth
season and has had 83 episodes to date
covering every aspect of life while living
with MBC. As a team we are are very
proud of the lineup for Season 4 that
was launched on March 2, 2022, which
has included the " Road to a Cure " series
with important interviews with leading
oncologists and researchers, and a new
MBC 101 series that will help individuals
with answers to the questions we all ask
about our treatment at the beginning or
even the middle of our care. This season
also continues with the stories from the
people living with MBC who inspire us
including the late Lara MacGregor. In the
Loss and End-Of-Life series, we speak
with respected social science researchers
like Dr. Pauline Boss, a death doula, a
hospice nurse, a caregiver, and a massage
therapist along with over 15 faith
leaders. We do not shy away from the
hard discussions and equally lift up the
joy that is in all our lives. We will also be
doing a groundbreaking and important
episode on the use of Psilocybin to aid
individuals experiencing the existential
distress of a terminal diagnosis. We will
end the season with an issue that is close
to the hearts of so many-parenting
while living with MBC. We hear directly
from parenting experts, from the kids
themselves, and from a panel of parents
living with MBC. It is ambitious and
exactly what we want to be doing-there
will never be a shortage of topics and
people to interview! " l
