NBBJ implements Continuous Performance Improvement to create a lean design rich in human experience for Seattle Children’s Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center

The facade of primarily glass and a screened outdoor café and porch (top) help to make the Seattle Children’s Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center inviting and approachable for families with young children. In the surgery waiting area, tinted window blocks and furnishings inject doses of vibrant color. The steel-framed, mesh-screened porch (opposite) houses an outdoor café and offers views to the facility’s green roofs and landscape.
