Javits Convention Center in New York, put on quite a show with a host of creativity. From the soft and supple to the rigid and geometric, new product introductions brought a flair of ingenuity to the exhibit hall, thanks to first-time exhibitors and staple vendors alike. DDI highlights some of the standouts and trends seen on the show floor. Geometric wonders T SCP introduces SUM by Peter Marigold, a wall-mounted, asymmetrical shelving system made in solid cherry with brass fixings. Reader Service #165 Tactile sensation Contemporary interior textiles from Anne Kyyrö Quinn are crafted from felt and fabric, and are based on three-dimensional sculpture rather than smooth surface ornamentation.
